Every Gold & Skye pattern is a PDF you download. Here's how to grab yours and print it, step by step.
Where to find your pattern
As soon as your payment goes through, you get an email with your download link, and the link also shows on your order confirmation (and in your account). Didn't get the email? Check your spam, and if it's still not there, email me at hello@goldandskye.com and I'll resend it right away.
What's in the file
You get the pattern as a PDF (with sizes on layers), the illustrated instruction booklet, and on some patterns an A0 file for copy-shop printing.
Printing at home (A4 or US Letter)
Print at 100% ("actual size") — never "fit to page", or your sizes will be off. Print the test page first and check the control square with a ruler before printing the rest.
Printing at a copy shop (A0)
If your pattern includes an A0 file, you can have it printed large-format at a copy shop or online. Ask for printing at 100%, with no scaling.
Show only your size (layers)
Open the PDF in Adobe Acrobat Reader (free), then in the "Layers" panel hide the sizes you don't need so you only print yours. Cleaner sheet, fewer lines.
Assembling your pattern
For A4/Letter patterns, line up the pages using the markers (triangles and numbers), trim the margins where shown, and tape in order. The booklet walks you through it.
